Step 8: READINESS EVALUATION

Description:

At this stage, QSE will evaluate the overall readiness of the organization for the upcoming certification audit. The effectiveness of internal systems, follow up for deficiency correction, review of all pre-assessment observations and their status, etc. are covered during this stage. By the end of this exercise, the organization will be in a high level of readiness for the certification audit.

Intended Audience:

All personnel that would typically interface with the registrar.

Duration and Location:

Two to three days, depending on the size of the company and complexity of the quality system. Two days is average for small to mid-sized companies. This is done on-site.
